क्या था ‘तेरी प्रार्थनाएं’ कई आंसू
ऊँचे पर अपने सिंहासन पर पहुँच सकते हैं;
तेरे मन की पीड़ा को जानता है,
और तुम्हारे पास से नहीं गुजरेगा।
शायद किसी निराशा की घड़ी में,
जब आशा का अतीत अच्छा हो,
तेरी आत्मा पर प्रकाश पड़ेगा,
और अंत में आनंद तुम्हारा हो।
प्रार्थना करो, प्रार्थना करो, हे थके नहीं,
तुम्हारी परीक्षा कुछ भी हो;
परन्तु उस पर अपना विश्वास रखो जिसने कहा,
“तेरा भला ही होगा।”
