Daystar on high, bright harbinger of gladness,
piercing the clouds of ignorance and error,
thou hast dispersed our night of sin and sadness;

ऊँचे पर भोर का तारा, आनंद का उज्ज्वल अग्रदूत,
अज्ञानता और त्रुटि के बादलों को भेदते हुए,
तूने हमारे पाप और शोक की रात को तितर-बितर कर दिया है;
मौत का कोई आतंक नहीं है।
अन्धकार बीत गया, भोर को आनन्द आनेवाला है;
बिना संख्या के पापियों के लिए आशा फिर से जगमगा उठती है:
सोने वालों, जागो! एक उज्जवल दिन का उदय हो रहा है;
अपनी नींद हराम करो।

पुराने भविष्यवक्ताओं ने इस चमत्कार के बारे में अस्पष्ट रूप से बात की थी,
भजनकार और संतों ने कहानी सौंपी है;
अब वह जी उठा है, बन्धन तोड़कर,
महिमा के लिए बढ़ गया।
पृथ्वी के अत्याचारी बटेर; पराक्रमी पूजा करते हैं:
उस ने निर्दोष और दीन लोगों को अधिक पसन्द किया;
उसकी उपस्थिति के चारों ओर दया और सच्चाई चमकती है:
उसका नाम पवित्र है।

विक्टर वह महिमा में आता है, खुलासा करता है
नश्वर लोगों के लिए जीवन और स्वतंत्रता का वादा;
स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी, विजयी भजनों के साथ,
उनके द्वारों को चौड़ा करो।
उसकी स्तुति करो, राष्ट्रों, दिलों और आवाजों का सम्मिश्रण:
अपने गीत को ऊँचा उठाओ; विजेता आगे बढ़ता है:
झांझ, वीणा और वीणा बजाते हुए उसकी स्तुति करो,
नृत्य से उसकी स्तुति करो।

उनकी जय हो महाराज, सृष्टि के शासक;
