BORN WHERE THE SHADOWS LIE
To answer every cry of man,
This child who formed all life
Now breathes our breath.
Born where the Father loved,
Born helpless to a mother’s arms,
She smoothed the tears upon
The face of God.
Born now with man to dwell,
Our Lord Immanuel,
Come see the King, the Christ Child born to us.
Born now with man to dwell,

My soul can finally know the God of Heaven.
Born with a road ahead,
Alone these blameless feet would tread
The path God chose to walk,
Before all time.
Born holding life and death,
Born bearing heaven’s wealth of peace
That fills where none can fill
Our living stream.
जन्म जहां छाया झूठ बोलते हैं
मनुष्य की हर पुकार का उत्तर देने के लिए,
यह बच्चा जिसने सारी जिंदगी बनाई
अब हमारी सांसे चल रही है।
जहां पिता ने प्यार किया वहां जन्म लिया,
माँ की गोद में लाचार पैदा हुआ,
उसने आँसुओं को चिकना किया
भगवान का चेहरा।
अब मनुष्य के साथ जन्म लेने के लिए,
हमारे भगवान इम्मानुएल,
आओ हमारे लिए पैदा हुए राजा, मसीह बच्चे को देखें।
अब मनुष्य के साथ जन्म लेने के लिए,
हमारे भगवान इम्मानुएल,
मेरी आत्मा अंत में स्वर्ग के परमेश्वर को जान सकती है।
आगे एक सड़क के साथ पैदा हुआ,
ये बेदाग़ पैर ही चलेंगे
जिस रास्ते पर चलने के लिए भगवान ने चुना,
सभी समय से पहले।
जन्म और मृत्यु को धारण करते हुए,
स्वर्ग की शांति के धन को लेकर जन्मे
वह भरता है जहाँ कोई नहीं भर सकता
हमारी जीवंत धारा।
