अपनी खुशियाँ बढ़ाएँ और जीतें ऊँची,

गाओ, तुम स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी उत्तर दो:

हमारा गौरवशाली राजा फिर से जीवित है,

कहाँ है, हे मृत्यु, अब तेरा डंक कहाँ है?
अल्लेलूया!
एक बार मरकर वह सब बचा लेता है,
अल्लेलूया!
कहाँ तेरी जीत, हे कब्र?

प्रेम के उद्धार का काम हो गया है,

लड़ाई लड़ी, जंग जीती,

व्यर्थ में मृत्यु उसे उठने से मना करती है,

मसीह ने स्वर्ग खोला है,

अब हम वहां चढ़ें जहां मसीह ने अगुवाई की है,

हमारे ऊंचे सिर के बाद,
