come, ye saints, look here and wonder
see the place where jesus lay:
he has burst his bands asunder;
he has borne our sins away;

yes, the lord has ris’n today,

jesus triumphs! sing ye praises
by his death he overcame;
thus the lord his glory raises,
thus he fills his foes with shame;

come from heav’n to meet their king;
soon, in yonder blessèd regions,

इस प्रकार वह अपके द्रोहियोंको लज्जित करता है;

विजेता के नाम की प्रशंसा,
विजेता के नाम की प्रशंसा!
यीशु की जीत! अनगिनत सेनाएँ
अपने राजा से भेंट करने के लिये स्वर्ग से आओ;
जल्द ही, धन्य क्षेत्रों में,
वे गाते हुए उसकी स्तुति में शामिल होंगे:
गीत शाश्वत, गीत शाश्वत,
स्वर्ग के ऊँचे मेहराबों से होकर गुजरेगा,
स्वर्ग के ऊँचे मेहराबों से होकर गुजरेगा!
